Extracting the Most from Your Time,"You are the master".
As we all know time is supposed to be the most precious resource in business. To help you be the most productive person you can be try the following tips to help squeeze out every last drop of your time, sometimes this safety zone can stifle us and eventually kill our will.,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots.
1. The last thing you should do each work day is write down everything you need to do the next day. You'll go home thinking of the next days challenges and return to work refreshed and ready to take on the new challenges. It is essential that you write these tasks down, or better still create time items for each one in one of our timesheet software packages Timesheets MTS or Timesheets Lite for the next day.
2. Prioritize the tasks by deciding which are the highest value added tasks you can do. You can do this by asking yourself questions like, 'What is it on this list that I, and only I can do?', or 'why am I on the payroll here and which if these tasks am I best suited to address?'.
3. Be sure to make the distinction between what is 'urgent', and what is 'important'. An unexpected phone call may need to be dealt with 'urgently', but at what consequence to not completing an 'important' task.
4. To help determine how important as task is figure out the consequences of doing or not doing a task. Are there positive rewards to be gained from completing a task? Are there consequences of not completing a task?
5. Are your tasks just 'busy' work, or are they truly accomplishing something? This uses the the Pareto Principle (or the 80/20 rule) which you can read about here. Basically the concept of this is that 80% of the results are accomplished with 20% of the effort. Are your tasks part of the 80% or the 20%,PERMISSION TO REPUBLISH? Obviously if part of the 20% then these should have a higher priority in your day.
Here's to finding more hours in the day!

He was at war with these bowel polyps.

Targets of Opportunity by Roseanna Leaton
What are targets of opportunity? This is a term which is familiar to those who have spent time in the army, the targets being persons of the enemy who happen to be just where you happen to be looking. Yesterday I was talking to a surgeon who had also been in the war and he used this term "targets of opportunity" to describe polyps in the bowel. His use of this term in such a different context grasped my attention, and I later found myself wondering how many people miss out on opportunities in life.
I don't mean this merely in the sense of bowel polyps being identified and removed; I'm referring now to opportunities which present themselves to us every day of our lives. Our lives offer infinite possibilities and yet many of us do not even realize that these opportunities are there. We tend to live our lives in accordance with preconceived ideas and expectations. Whatever we perceive now, today, is made sense of through our beliefs and past knowledge and expectations. Hence the surgeon I mentioned before using his army terminology to describe a completely different context. His pattern match relating to "targets of opportunity" was a very empowering one. I for one would definitely want him as my surgeon if I had bowel polyps - he saw them as his own personal enemies to be eliminated with immediate effect! He was at war with these bowel polyps.
How many of us have this focus, this intensity of focus upon out goals? The majority of us have work related goals which we either set for ourselves or they are set for us. But do we give equal attention to the setting of goals with regards to our relationships, or happiness in general, or our spirituality? This leads to the question of which is more important to you and have you got your priorities right,Confront that personThen tell them you love them.?
If you do not set goals it is likely that the targets of opportunity which present themselves to you will be ignored. In fact, you will probably not even see them, let alone give yourself the opportunity to ignore them. So many people wonder what they did wrong in their day to day life,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots, or in their relationship. They ask themselves these questions after the event of course, when it is too late to make any changes. The fact is that if you do not focus upon what you want you will miss out on opportunities because you will be blind to them. Whatever you focus upon you attract into your reality.
Have you given any time to intentionally seeking happiness? Most people set more minor goals,From Soul to You, with the idea in our minds that "if I lose weight I will be happy" or "if I make a million dollars I will be happy" and so on. Achieving these goals will not necessarily lead to happiness; in fact I very much doubt that any of these types of goals will lead to happiness, because happiness is a state of mind that you feel "in the now". Happiness is a state which you experience at this moment in time, and it involves acceptance of where you are, and enjoyment of the moment. Happiness is not conditional. Happiness just is.
Happiness in itself leads to fulfillment and success. If you choose to enjoy each moment, to be in the now, you will necessarily be more aware, problems with sleeping, and those targets of opportunity will not slip by unnoticed.
Many of us are so used to living life on a tread-mill, that we have almost forgotten how to be in the moment, and enjoy being in the now. But this state is in actual fact the nearest state to bliss that you can experience and the human mind hungers after this. You can learn how to relax and be in the now with the help of hypnosis downloads. Hypnosis is a state of relaxation. You feel good in hypnosis. It also allows access to your subconscious mind and so you can easily change habitual thoughts and behaviors with the help of hypnosis.
If you want to be happy, to be in the now, and to not miss your targets of opportunity, then you will find that you can refocus your mind quickly and easily simply by listening to hypnosis downloads.

7. Be More Social

Holiday Fun for Singles
Are you dreading the holidays because you are single? For those who are alone, this can be a difficult season -- especially if you know what it is like to be in a relationship during this time of year. This can, however, be your best time of the year if you follow this plan:
1. Participate in Lots of Holiday Gatherings
Who knows? You may meet Mr. or Ms. Right at that next party. Or you may meet someone who knows someone who is right for you. And you will most certainly have fun,an advocate, which makes for a good holiday season.
So how do you find these gatherings,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots? Ask your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers about upcoming holiday events. Then see if you can join in on the fun!
2. Volunteer
Many people volunteer during the holidays, especially very good-hearted, loving people -- the kind of people with whom you want to be in a relationship! This is why volunteering is a great way to meet others while also making yourself feel good for contributing.
How do you find these opportunities for holiday volunteering? Look in your local paper and in your phone book for charitable organizations. Or contact your local United Way for charitable organizations in your area.
3. Worship
Religion and spirituality can be uplifting and satisfying for your soul. Thus, the holidays are the perfect time to rejoin or revisit your place of worship. Plus, you'll find that lots of other people are making the same choice this season!
If you have trouble meeting your fellow worshipers, take on a volunteer role. Become a greeter, volunteer on a holiday committee, or take on some other role that fits your personality and interests. Being in a role with a job to do makes it easier to strike up conversation with people -- and possibly find romance!
4. Participate at Work
Are there holiday events going on at your work? If so,Whatever the reason, participate! If not, lead a group of people in organizing some activities.
Create opportunities to socialize with as many of your co-workers as possible, then ask each of them to bring friends to the events.
5. Send Out a Holiday Letter
Mail a letter about your life to your friends and family, and maybe even to work clients. Tell them about significant events and milestones in your year -- and tell them you are single and looking! Describe your ideal mate and include your picture. Who knows what the postman will bring back?
6. Step Out of the Ordinary
Participate in activities that you either normally avoid or don't have time to do. And take time to research brand-new activities in which you can partake. Step out of your norm and you are likely to meet new and interesting people.
Some ideas for activities: speed dating, neighborhood gatherings, singles clubs, dances, group nature hikes, etc. Find these activities by looking in your local paper, surfing the Internet,if they are normally very calm under pressure, and listening to your local radio stations. Also ask your friends if they know of any fun group events.
7. Be More Social
Try to attend at least three social occasions a week right now -- perhaps a party, a singles event, and a work event.
These activities should not just consist of you and your friends going out. Do things that will expose you to new people. If you can manage more then three social events a week, you will be even better off. The more social you are, the more people you will meet.
8. Be Happy
You want to shine and be attractive this holiday season. This can be somewhat achieved with stylish clothes, a good haircut, and jewelry and makeup for women.
However, it will be better achieved by being happy, which will make you shine from the inside out. Make yourself happy by working on your attitude on a daily basis. Focus on being grateful for the bounty of what you have, even if you feel that what you have is not enough.
9. Give and Be Generous
Give to friends and loved ones, but also give to strangers and charity. The more you give, the more joyous and in the holiday spirit you will feel.
The more joyous you feel, the more attractive you will be to others. People want to be with joyous, happy people.
10. Make a Significant Emotional Shift
Learn something extraordinary and profound about yourself, your relationships, or your life. Transform some part of yourself. Change something so radically that you will have no doubt about the change.
This will help you attract love now and will guarantee that your relationships will be better in the future. Knowing this, you will enjoy the holidays more.

One of my favorite quotes comes from John Powell. In his book

You Teach People How to Treat You
So often we hear people ask the question, "Why does he/she/they treat me/us so badly,of abandonment?". The honest answer, in most cases, is "Because you let him, her or they!"
If that seems too simple an answer, think of it this way,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots,As you move through your life. You make a date for lunch with someone new. They arrive twenty minutes late, citing traffic, office hold ups, the weather, their car or their kids. Of course, things do happen to detain even the best intentioned person. You accept the apology and have a lovely lunch. The next time you have lunch with this person, they are thirty minutes late. Aha, there may be a pattern developing. What do you do?
Unless you do not mind this behavior, you then have the opportunity to teach that person how to treat you. Good communication skills come into play. You can say something like, "One of the things I've found works for me is to be honest with people. I really enjoy your company and would like to continue meeting for lunch. I know things come up at the last minute and sometimes traffic can be horrendous. I'd like us to agree that either of us can leave if the other is more than fifteen minutes late? Would that be all right with you?" This clearly communicates what you need and want without ascribing blame. It builds relationship when you make clear agreements with people. Would it be all right with you if an employee came to work consistenly one-half hour late? No, there is an agreement about the starting time, isn't there? The same is true of our own time.
One of my favorite quotes comes from John Powell. In his book, The Secret of Staying in Love, he wrote that "the genius of good communication is to be totally kind and totally honest at the same time." I repeat this quote often to remind myself how to approach teaching people how to treat me,so you need and desire the education to succeed.. If I do not tell the truth about what works for me, I cannot expect another person to honor and respect it. Learning to teach people how to treat us takes practice.
You may still have folks who have been in your life for a long time who take advantage of you, treat you poorly, or are angry, abusive or violent. A habit has been established and they may like it a lot! Consider telling them the truth about how their behavior affects you and what changes would make the relationship feel more respectful and caring for you. Be both honest and kind. Be prepared to have to repeat this information consistently over time. It is sometimes "inconvenient" for these folks to remember that you have now stated your preferences. They may not want to change. Holding these boundaries also requires attention on your part. Once you have asked for the change, you must insist on it or consider giving up the relationship. Both of these tasks take positive self-esteem and self-confidence.
Relationships worth having are mutually respectful and responsive. Think about how you might like to apply these thoughts in your daily life.

When my wife and I were searching for a new Las Vegas home in 2002

The Chi of New Homes ... Feng Shui
When my wife and I were searching for a new Las Vegas home in 2002, we wanted it to have a solid foundation based on Feng Shui principles. My wife researched the essentials and we decided to build a home that met our needs and supported good Chi. The internal layout of the furniture was a slow process because we want to ensure that everything "was energy (Chi) efficient". We even went so far as to pick a plot of land that had a curvy street in front and located on a hill with a view of a "city of money",1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots. With all of the work we did in building the structure and embellishing the interior, the house feels fantastic and the energy feeds us and moves us forward!
This positive experience tickled my curiosity and I decided to assemble some of our observations, yet can convey a lot of things. For some, based on our initial house hunting and, later, my interest and research. In the Las Vegas area, I focused on Feng Shui "compatibility" based on empty new-builds. All of the homes were built within the last five years and were unoccupied. I acquired a few pictures and compared the structures and placement of built-in components (i.e., doors, windows, and potential placement of furniture as necessitated by the structure) to several books and resources I have available on Feng Shui. In the end, I noticed some consistencies with regard to the class of individual for which the homes were built.
Since we are newbies to Feng Shui, I submitted the research to a few Feng Shui experts to see if we were "in the ballpark". Some of the conclusions I came up with and discussed with these experts were:
For homes within the Upper class of society, the structures were built to support power and money.
For homes within the Upper-Middle class of society, the structures were built to support employment and consumption.
For homes within the Lower to Middle class of society, the structures were built to support production.
For homes within the Retirement class of society,This is a natural plant that is used to treat anxiety, the structures were built to support endings and isolation from society (e.g., foot of bed facing an external door).
This all seemed interesting in that the type of home built seemed to fit within a particular need or desire for a given societal class, such as returning phone calls. It also seems to be that people purchase a home that supports the issues and lessons on which they are embarking. This approach is a hidden, and ingenious, psychological "marketing gimmick" for builders. Indeed, most people will always go toward that which is the most comfortable.
Of course, one cannot specifically reference outcome by class regarding the selection of the home structure. However, it seems that the architecture of today reflects the mind set of the country as a whole. While, in the long run, many choose the best house they can afford for their family, comfort, and lifestyle; however, most are unconscious of the effects of the space while focusing on the structural illusion.

If you answered "yes" to any two of the above questions

How to Stop Spending Your Hard Earned Money by Neil Parnham
b. Are you surprised each month when your credit card bill arrives at how much more you charged than you thought you had?
c,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots. Do you have more shoes and clothes in your closet than you could ever possibly wear," If you're a parent and you're feeling a little burned out by your child's demands?
d. Do you own every new gadget before it has time to collect dust on a retailer's shelf?
e. Do you buy things you didn't know you wanted until you saw them on display in a store?
If you answered "yes" to any two of the above questions, you are an impulse spender and indulge yourself in retail therapy.
This is not a good thing. It will prevent you from saving for the important things like a house, a new car, a vacation or retirement. You must set some financial goals and resist spending money on items that really don't matter in the long run.
Impulse spending will not only put a strain on your finances but your relationships,we suffer needlessly, as well. To overcome the problem, the first thing to do is learn to separate your needs from your wants.
Advertisers blitz us hawking their products at us 24/7. The trick is to give yourself a cooling-off period before you buy anything that you have not planned for,I'm sitting in row 20 seat E. That's the middle seat at the back of the plane. This morning.
When you go shopping, make a list and take only enough cash to pay for what you have planned to buy. Leave your credit cards at home.
If you see something you think you really need, give yourself two weeks to decide if it is really something you need or something you can easily do without. By following this simple solution, you will mend your financial fences and your relationships.

Does Internet Dating Work?
What's the Number One Question that Everyone Asks About CyberDating?
Everyone -- and that included YOU! -- wants to know: "Does Internet Dating Work?"
Well, I KNOW it works, and in the best possible way, because I met my husband Drew on in May 1998. And I know others who have met their True Love that way, too. (I'm collecting stories of Internet True Romance, if you know of a couple that met that way -- email me at and tell me all about it!)
But what about for you,1875 Ugg Sheepskin Cuff Short Black Boots? Will it work for YOU???
Kathryn B. Lord c. 2003 All Rights Reserved
No one wants to get their hopes up and then be disappointed, do they? If this is "not going to work," then why try?
Sounds like a good reason not to do anything, doesn't it? Because even though CyberDating most definitely worked for me, I can't guarantee that it will "work" for you. Too many variables, the biggest of which is you -- your own fears and how far you are willing to go.
Let's look at this question from a more logical place.
What have you been doing,"Renounce and rejoice." It doesn't get much simpler than that., other than posting on an Internet Dating site, and the tranquility that cannot be disturbed, about finding a mate? And how is that working for you?
Either you have been doing something (singles events, let's say, or trying to let others know that you are interested) or you have been doing nothing. "Something" is more likely to have results than "nothing," but neither have "worked" in that you haven't gotten a mate yet, or you wouldn't be asking the question "Does Internet dating work?"
So let's redefine "work." What Internet dating does better than any other method I know is that it exposes you to a very large group of other singles and helps you sort them into the likeliest category for potential partnerhood with you. How well does "doing nothing" compare with that? For that matter, how well does "doing something" other than Internet dating compare, call up a mental image of yourself feeling confident?
I've had clients who loudly complain that Internet dating is not working for them, when they have, at the same time, been carrying on several correspondences with possible mate candidates and have met and screened several others, all in a few weeks' time. How can they say that Internet dating does not work???
I can't answer the question "Does Internet dating work?" ANY other way than with a resounding "YES!!!" It works by getting you the best possible exposure to the most potential partners.
Now what you DO with that exposure is up to you -- that's where your "work" comes in. Many, many factors come into play -- your relative receptiveness to a new relationship, the kind of barriers you may put in the way, your skills or the lack of them in presenting yourself and relating to other. All those and more are part of the "work" that needs to happen to transform potential mates into actual ones.
And that's YOUR "work" -- so the question becomes "Can I do the work that needs to happen to find a mate and develop a lasting relationship?"
That's the RIGHT question. It's a big one, and if you have been long frustrated in your efforts, maybe getting a Romance Coach could help.
Getting a Romance Coach is unlikely to make your situation worse. And who knows? It just might work!
